Acceptance
By creating an account or using Splitido you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
Splitido lets you record shared expenses in flats and trips, calculates who owes whom, and helps you keep track of settlements between members.
Not a payment service
Splitido does not hold, move or process money, and it does not verify that a payment happened. Settlements are marked as paid and confirmed by the people involved. QR codes, payment links and payment details shown in the app are a convenience: always check the recipient and amount in your own banking or payment app before paying.
Balances and totals are calculated from what members enter. Splitido is not financial, tax or legal advice.
Your account
You must be at least 16 years old, provide accurate information, and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Your content
You are responsible for the expenses, comments, receipts and other content you add, and for having the right to add them. Content in a flat or trip is visible to its members. Do not add unlawful, abusive or misleading content, and do not try to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service or other people's data.
Availability and changes
Splitido is provided as is and as available. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep your own records of important payments.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses arising from incorrect data entered by users or from payments made outside the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Ending use
You may stop using Splitido at any time. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms or misuse the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version and its date are always published on this page; continuing to use Splitido after a change means you accept it.
